Client
I first met Lena over four years ago in a brand photography coaching program, and we’ve stayed connected ever since. From the very beginning, her creativity and energy stood out. She’s the kind of person who brings both laughter and strategy to every conversation.
Lena Lee Photography serves bold entrepreneurs and outdoor brands who want their visuals to match the heart and impact of their work. Her adventurous spirit shines through every shoot, whether she’s photographing in the mountains of Alaska or partnering with outdoor and lifestyle brands across the country.
Challenge
Lena is in a season of growth and clarity. She’s ready to expand her brand photography business beyond Alaska and work with outdoor and adventure brands across the U.S.—but she’s figuring out how to position herself for that next level of visibility.
She wants to grow without adding unnecessary stress, using smarter systems, automation, and eventually a team to support her creative work.
Her calendar stays full, and opportunities keep coming her way—but now she’s focused on scaling strategically, not reactively. The goal is clear: to build a business that allows her to travel, serve more aligned clients, and keep her creative energy front and center.
Strategic Mapping Insights
Values. We started by identifying a unique set of business values that reflect how Lena shows up and serves her clients. These values are her compass for decision-making. They define who she works with, how she delivers her services, and what boundaries protect her creativity.

Visibility. We leaned into Lena’s adventurous brand to identify visibility opportunities outside Alaska. Using SEO tools like Ubersuggest, we researched keywords connected to outdoor brands and adventure-based businesses. Together, we created a plan to optimize her website for those search terms, build out blog content based on her travels, and increase discoverability through Google. In addition, we talked through ideas using Pinterest, podcasts, and trade shows.
Client Experience. Lena wants her clients to feel fully supported from booking to delivery. She especially wants to help them actually use the photos she captures. We brainstormed a “How I Work” page and onboarding system that sets clear expectations and boundaries. Lena will use HoneyBook and Flodesk automations for client prep and offboarding, turning a once-manual process into a seamless experience.
Operational Efficiencies. As Lena gears up to hire a new virtual assistant, we focused on documenting her workflows. Using tools like Tango and Loom, she’s building a library of SOPs to make delegation easier and ensure consistency as she scales.
Results
Our consulting relationship evolved into a deep dive on SEO and business optimization. Together, we updated key pages of her website with outdoor brand–focused keywords. We refreshed her portfolio with images from her travels and updated blog posts to better align with her target clients.
Now, Lena’s brand reflects both her adventurous spirit and strategic foundation. She’s positioned to expand beyond Alaska, attract outdoor brands, and continue building a business that blends creativity, freedom, and impact—without losing balance along the way.
